I have been a wedding photographer for 9 years now and I take pride in being based in the amazing Pacific Northwest! I have a background in art and a degree in Journalism—which is how I acquired my signature candid style of wedding photography.
I am a fan of carrots, Marcell, plants, my pup Milo, Disney, cooking, sunshine & rain. Expect to bring up the fact (yes fact) that Fall is the best season or that I could most definitely beat you in Mario Kart.

I love capturing memories that last and impact generations of people. I love capturing togetherness and the joy in peoples eyes. And most of all I love capturing love.
When I am not a wedding photographer, I am a fiber artist living in Track Town U.S.A. Oregon! I have an out-of-this-world smart, beautiful, and wonderful wife Courtney Meili and a strikingly handsome good boy dog named Milo, they are my greatest loves.
Some of my favorite things are Disney (mostly the Disney Parks), Video games (like RPG's), Fall (because I am an October baby), running (cause I’m crazy) and Anime (Ghibli movies and Attack on Titan for example).

Hands-On
& Hands-Off.
We specialize in a technique we kind of made up ourselves when we shoot. We like to call it a hands-on/hands-off approach. We are super hands-on with our clients in making their experience feel fun & relaxed, but then we are hands-off in making decisions that would effect the quality of their day. We want our clients wedding days/elopements etc. to happen how they were meant to happen.
We would never dare take too long with portraits or pull you away from your wedding. (Unless you asked us to!)
It’s like how Doctor Strange never abuses the time stone to change the course of time.
Our Story.
He had just graduated high school and she had just graduated college when they met.
They bonded over photography, laughing at everything, watching movies, and plants. They began to foster a close friendship over the course of two years, and eventually became best friends who hung out every day.
They used to joke "how funny" it would be if they dated.
There were many nights where Courtney called Marcell because she felt like he was the one who understood her best, and who loved her most.
One day it was like someone poured a bucket of cold water on Courtney's face. She suddenly saw Marcell with new eyes. She had been looking everywhere except at her very best friend right in front of her.
"We hang out everyday...is something maybe different between us?"
Marcell said instantly: "I like you. And I've liked you for two years.... Do you like me?"
Courtney: "YES!"
They high-fived. And the rest is history.
